About the Role
Processor is responsible for receipt, evaluation, pricing and stocking thrift items that are donated
Receives donated items
Sorts items by their specific type (Clothing, hard goods, etc)
Evaluates donations based on conditions and discards items that don’t meet our standards
Places items in the appropriate location within the store
Create an attractive, organized display of goods
All other duties as assigned
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to accurately determine value of donated items
Ability to apply a sense of style to create aesthetically pleasing displays
Ability to positively represent the ministry of Many Hands, including its mission, vision, and core values to all outside constituencies
Education and Experience:
High school diploma preferred
Prolonged periods of standing
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
